  • How redundant an OSS needs to be to properly cover the main risks

  • Actual state-of-the-art monitoring and control systems on OSS

  • How to get the right balance between compact OSS and maintainable OSS

Owners, designers and suppliers are welcome to share experience and identify best practices for improving electrical systems in offshore platforms

Workshop B

1:00 PM Substation requirements and functional designs

Designs for substations and converter platforms have to consider a variety

of different aspects, ranging from transportability to H&S standards. The workshop offers a holistic view on design requirements, such as:

  • Potential for standardisation and cost improvement

  • H&S requirements and accessibility

  • Designs optimised for transport and O&M

The aim is to discuss and develop efficient concepts to harmonise these requirements and advance functional platform designs.
